Jess planted our first ever garden this year and we’ve already enjoyed the fresh spinach, lettuce, and radishes from of it. Just over our back fence we’ve got a crop of corn growing (last year it was pumpkins) and so we asked Jude a few weeks back what he thinks will be sprouting up soon.

I had to post this advertisement that was in a recent edition of Wired. Do people still smoke cigarettes? Now days when people say they ’smoke’ they are typically referring to weed, especially if they are from my hometown. Does American Spirit think that people who smoke cancer sticks really care if the tobacco is organic? I find this terribly funny. I guess if you’re gonna die you better do it naturally. |
As I anticipate the arrival of our little boy I was reminded today of how often his diaper will need to be changed. Thankfully we use the best diapers on the planet!

We’re mixing it up this week with our youth ministry and having an 80’s Wii Bowling Tournament.
We’ll have 8 Nintendo Wii’s set up with teams of 2 going head to head. Jess and I found some sweet prizes to give out to the winning bowling teams as well as the winning 80’s outfits. Since none of our students were alive in the 80’s I posted this video on our student ministry website so they can get some ideas.

About 45 minutes from here in the town of Athol, ID it was reported that a Mountain Goat rammed his way through someones screen door and glass sliding door, into their house.
They think he was mad because he saw his reflection in the window and thought it was a rival goat. I’m willing to bet he’s pissed because him and his homey’s use to chew grass in the field that is now occupied by a house.
I saw this a couple years ago and I still think it’s hilarious.
