Have a great Thanksgiving!
Have a great Thanksgiving!
I thought this was pretty funny.
About 45 minutes from here in the town of Athol, ID it was reported that a Mountain Goat rammed his way through someones screen door and glass sliding door, into their house.
They think he was mad because he saw his reflection in the window and thought it was a rival goat. I’m willing to bet he’s pissed because him and his homey’s use to chew grass in the field that is now occupied by a house.

My beautiful wife has become quite a proficient blogger and has thrown down a couple of posts on our recent China trip on our family blog. Check them out here.
I hate to admit it but when I walked into the store the other day and saw Christmas stuff everywhere, smelled a scent of cinnamon, and heard the music - my heart warmed a little.I hate to admit it because it was good old commercialism. For whatever reason, I’m very ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year and my typical resistance to listening to Christmas music before Thanksgiving has even subsided. Now that Jude is more aware (he just turned 2) our holiday traditions will be starting to form even more this year. One tradition I’m going to try to avoid is my holiday weight gain. Now, how to do that is the tough part.
I know a lot of people have seen this already but I had to post it anyhow. This is definitely a tribute to weird early Christian music.
Jess and I went in for our first ultrasound of this pregnancy and found out that the growing Baby Foosh is in fact a boy! Jude will have a little bro to take under his wing and I’ll have a basketball team to play 3 on 3 with…in a few years or so. The Fouche brothers are guaranteed to be a force.
We’ll it’s certainly great to be back home in my own bed but there’s also a huge part of me that really misses China. The country, the people, the culture - they grabbed my heart some years ago. Even though lots has changed since I was last there 6 years ago, many things are just like I remember.
I’m in the process of typing up my thoughts and what we were involved with during our two weeks there. Because of the nature of our trip though I don’t think I’ll be posting these on my blog (even though my blog was blocked in China). I don’t want to risk the wrong people reading it and endangering the amazing work that is going on. I may still end up posting a general overview here with some pictures but if you want to read more specifics, than shoot me an email and I’d be happy to send them to you.
After an awesome 2 weeks in China it’s good to be back home. Updates will follow.
