$600?!

It’s being reported that the government might actually give us some of our money back! In some kind of weird effort to stimulate the economy, Congress is considering giving tax payers back $600 per person, $1200 per couple, and possibly $300 per child.

So what would you do with yours?

  5. President Bush did this his first term in office. My husband remembers having to pay it back when he filed taxes the following year. It’s like a government loan - to “boost the economy” (for a quick fix to our economic problems).

    We will most likely put the money in savings where it can draw interest - so that - at the very least - we have the interest money next year.

  7. They keep lowered the tax rebate. The last news report we read it was $300 per person. China is financing the money. But you probably know all that by now…
