I’ll be honest, I’ve had no clue who to vote for next year for President. Until I saw this ad that is!

It snowed for the first time two nights ago and another half foot is due to arrive tonight. Having driven in the stuff very little I was a bit nervous but the Ford is handling it wonderfully. Click here for a few pics and video of my little guy exploring the snow for the first time.
We got back from Thanksgiving in Seattle yesterday and found that the lake had froze. I watered a plant on the porch with warm water and the overflow from the pot froze on contact with the porch. It’s dang cold.
Uhh, yeah I’ve haven’t exactly experienced cold weather. Pics of the frozen-ness will be forthcoming.
We finally hooked up with the Skype deal, so for those of you with it add us to your list!

With the all the injustice in the world there are ump-teen very worthy causes that you can align with. There has always been a part of me that still hasn’t found one quite worthy of my money…until now. Thanks to Adopt-a-Turkey you can be a part of saving one of the most precious birds this planet has to offer. Don’t take my word for it, see what child star Corey Feldman has to say.

On the scale of worthy charities, I would have to put saving one of the ugliest birds on the planet just below poor kids who don’t have food and just above saving whales. So, don’t eat Turkey this year, eat

You know things are getting bad when you pass by a McDonald’s and think, “Hey they sell coffee there. No one would know.”
Day 4 actually wasn’t as bad. I think I may be through the worst of it. The shakes have mellowed out and I can carry on a normal conversation, which are both good signs. Tomorrow morning will have it’s own temptations…staff meeting! What staff meeting doesn’t have coffee? That’s right, none.
It’s been a while since I’ve gone this long without a sweet cup of java. This morning I woke with a craving that I knew couldn’t be statisfied. I felt light headed and tired and knew I was in for a long morning. Jess seems to be handling it better than I and although far from her chipper self was able to walk straighter than me out of the bedroom. Each hour is a battle in itself as I fight to keep my will from giving in.
Hello, my name is Andrew and I like Coffee.
A couple of days ago I realized I liked a coffee a little too much and so a pact was made with my wife. Jess and I are both taking a week off from coffee. Having not had coffee for a couple of days Jess and I were a little on edge this morning and ended up having a fist fight for about 5 minutes. I’m embarassed to admit that she layed the smack down on me but only because my system was trying to draw energy from it’s usual source - caffeine - and none could be found.
I’ll keep you updated.
Sorry for the duplicative posts (if you read our family blog as well) but the second one was just too good not to post here as well.
