Who’s that in the picture? Is that an old outreach photo?

As long as you don’t equate not going to church as “fallen away”. A lot of people keep their relationship with God on a more personal (introspective) level. Just because we don’t talk openly about God or Jesus doesn’t mean we don’t believe anymore.
As for losing interest in church, that’s a different subject altogether.

Me: I definitely don’t equate not going to church as ‘falling away’. In this article, I was talking about people who were followers of Jesus and then for whatever reason decided not to. This is evidenced by far more than attendance at a weekly meeting.
