Ok, so you may have heard that Pluto is no longer a planet. I have to say I’m a bit shocked and started having flashbacks to my childhood when so called scientists decided there was no such thing as a Brontosauras. Up until that point it had been my second favorite dinosaur and then, bam, it doesn’t exist.
On a side note has anyone ever asked why in the old Disney cartoons Goofy, (who was a dog) talked and wore clothes but Pluto didn’t?

First I find out that there is no Santa Claus. And no Easter Bunny or Tooth Fairy… And NOW they are telling us Pluto is not a planet?!? I am shocked, confused and dismayed.
I think Goofy wore clothes because he was a few cans shy of a six pack, hence the name. As for Pluto (the cartoon character) we’re probably going to find out that he wasn’t really a dog. Heck, we’re probaby going to find out that cartoons aren’t real!!!

I have to admit that I have never cared much for Pluto. Its always been distant and has always seemed like a planet that didn’t matter much. I know I’ll probably lose friends for admitting this deeep secret of mine. But I have no love for Pluto. I don’t care planet or no planet. There I’ve said it. I’ve finally let it go. hehe

Well, Pluto now has the status of “dwarf planet”, so it’s still technically a planet. And I’m still dismayed.

I never bought into the whole “Apotasaurus” crap either. To me, the long-necked Jurassic will always be Brontosaurus…
